As a Senior Video Editor at 2X, you will lead the creation and execution of high-quality B2B video content, driving impactful visual storytelling that aligns with client objectives and brand standards. You’ll oversee a team developing creative concepts and delivering video solutions that meet strategic goals. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide guidance on video strategies and initiatives while mentoring and empowering video editors and associates.
Responsibilities
- Visual Development & Animation: Create storyboards, conceptualize, develop all graphic visuals, and animate videos for client projects.
- Brand Integration: Ensure all designs comply with client guidelines and standards.
- Innovation & Brainstorming: Generate new ideas for various design and animation challenges.
- Research: Conduct research on media techniques and design ideas.
- Partnership and Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a trusted partner to directors, principals, and senior managers. Collaborate with teams (content, marketing, data) to gather requirements and define design objectives.
- Client Management: Manage feedback and revisions, ensuring designs meet expectations and requirements.
- People Management: Lead, mentor, and manage editors, fostering a positive, creative environment.
- Deliverables: Manage and provide design solutions for marketing materials, including campaigns.
- Lead strategic assessment and execute high-quality video editing, asset design, motion graphics, and 2D animation for videos supporting digital campaigns.
- Oversee and strategize the entire post-production process, including editing, sound mixing, and color grading. Maintain efficient workflows.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Art, Design, Multimedia, Cinematography, Photography, Visual Arts, or related fields.
- Minimum 5-6 years of experience in video editing & motion design, with a portfolio showcasing diverse video work.
- Experience managing and guiding junior editors, with a strong understanding of video production workflows.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator) or similar tools.
- Understanding of the full video production workflow.
- Strong graphic design, composition, and animation skills.
- Creative mindset and storytelling ability.
- Up-to-date with latest trends in video marketing & motion design.
- Self-motivated, organized, results-oriented, with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing).
