Material Planner (Manufacturing Industry)

We are looking for an experienced Material Planner to manage the timely supply of raw materials and components required to support smooth production operations. The ideal candidate will work closely with internal teams to ensure material readiness, support production targets, and optimize inventory levels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and monitor material requirements based on production schedules and forecasts.
• Raise and manage purchase requisitions to ensure timely procurement.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure materials meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
• Track production output, customer demand, and inventory levels to adjust planning as needed.
• Collaborate with production, purchasing, and warehouse teams to align material flow with production goals.
• Manage inventory accuracy, minimize shortages or excess, and address schedule changes or cancellations.
• Ensure documentation and system updates are accurate and up to date.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in material planning, procurement, or inventory control within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and supply chain processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP/material management systems.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities effectively.
