A property development company in Petaling Jaya is seeking a Project Manager with a degree in Civil Engineering and over 3 years of experience in construction management. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of project delivery, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Key responsibilities include coordinating with various stakeholders, monitoring costs and progress, and managing site teams effectively. This role requires strong leadership and decision-making skills, along with proficiency in project scheduling and budgeting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in construction, focusing on high-rise or large-scale developments.
• In-depth knowledge of contracts, construction methods, and authority requirements.
• Strong exposure to safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end project delivery: scheduling, construction, quality control, and safety.
• Coordinate with authority, consultants, and contractors from pre-construction planning.
• Monitor project milestones, costs, claims, and billing.
• Lead regular site meetings, resolve technical and operational issues promptly.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Oversee end‑to‑end project delivery: scheduling, construction, quality control, and safety

Coordinate with authority, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams from pre‑construction planning.

Drive progress on‑site, plan activities, manage manpower and materials efficiently

Monitor project milestones, cost, claims, variation orders, and billing

Conduct site reviews, ensure all documentation, authority submissions, and permits are in order

Lead regular site meetings, resolve technical and operational issues promptly

Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards (QLASSIC, etc.)

Review risk assessments, coordinate accident investigations, and implement corrective actions

Provide project updates and reports to senior management or stakeholders
