In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Oversee and maintain full ownership and accountability of end‑to‑end P2P processes, ensuring smooth service delivery for Cepheid and achieving measurable results.
- Monitor P2P process performance and KPIs, ensuring compliance and driving continuous improvement through data‑driven decision‑making.
- Define, communicate, and embed a clear P2P process vision and roadmap, aligned with strategic business goals and focused on delivering tangible outcomes.
- Engage with senior leadership and stakeholders across the business to drive impactful process improvements that enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
- Lead the P2P delivery and process teams, setting clear performance goals and fostering a results‑oriented culture of accountability and excellence.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Over 10 years of progressive leadership experience in Procure‑to‑Pay processes, ideally in high‑volume, global or multi‑regional shared‑services environments, with a proven track record of delivering service excellence, meeting SLAs, and driving performance through robust internal controls.
- Deep functional expertise in P2P operations including payments, account reconciliations, invoice processing, T&E claims, and month‑end closing, focused on process efficiency and accuracy.
- Demonstrated ability to set strategic direction for P2P, champion process innovation (e.g., RPA, AI, Danaher Business Systems/Continuous Improvement), and implement best practices that lead to measurable improvements in cost, cycle time, and compliance; proficient in SAP and Esker with hands‑on experience optimizing system capabilities to enhance P2P performance.
- Proven success in leading transformation initiatives, including ERP implementations and finance roadmap projects, with clear business impact and stakeholder alignment.
- Exceptional interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, able to influence cross‑functional teams including IT, Procurement, and Finance, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
