Role Overview
We are hiring a PR & Communications Manager to lead internal and external communications across the group’s business verticals. You will be responsible for crafting press releases, managing the company’s public voice, supporting marketing and investor narratives, and working closely with leadership on strategic messaging. This is a high-ownership, content-first role that blends brand-building, corporate storytelling, and media coordination. You’ll be responsible for shaping how TGL is perceived — across B2B, B2C, investor, and media audiences.
You will report directly to the CEO and collaborate closely with business development, marketing, investor relations, and product teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Press & External Communications
- Draft and distribute press releases, announcements, and executive statements.
- Coordinate media outreach, build journalist relationships, and handle inbound press requests.
- Develop TGL’s brand voice across all public-facing materials.
- Corporate Narrative & Brand Messaging
- Create brand and product messaging that aligns with TGL’s commercial objectives.
- Maintain consistency of tone across internal decks, websites, social channels, and founder communications.
- Partner with the CEO and other executives on high-priority comms (e.g. investor updates, leadership transitions, campaign launches).
- Internal Content & Storytelling
- Draft internal and cross-functional announcements, team updates, and founder memos.
- Support development of pitch decks, product one-pagers, and promotional kits.
- Coordinate and manage TGL’s external communication touchpoints — including the corporate website, LinkedIn presence, and regulatory-facing press releases (in partnership with legal counsel and external advisors).
- Develop and maintain a proactive media calendar and content pipeline aligned with key launches, partnerships, and business milestones.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with marketing, product, and BD teams to align campaigns and communications strategy.
- Track press performance and sentiment, and report on coverage impact.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
- 4–6 years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, or brand content.
- Excellent writing and editing skills — fluent in English, Bahasa preferred. Mandarin proficiency is a plus.
- Experience drafting press releases, pitching to media, and handling executive messaging.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, multi-brand environments.
- Able to handle sensitive or confidential information with discretion and strategic tact.
- Familiarity with PR wire distribution, basic design workflows, or brand asset management is a bonus.
