A leading marketing agency in Malaysia is seeking a proactive Freelance Account Manager/Senior Account Executive to manage advertising and marketing activities. The successful candidate will assist in creative development workflows, ensuring timely and quality-controlled outputs for assigned brands. An ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree and 2-4 years of relevant experience within an agency, particularly in the pharma sector. Account Manager/Senior Account Executive - Freelance (Petaling Jaya)

We’re looking for someone proactive, process-driven, and detail-oriented who can be part of the team and is able to start immediately.

  • Assist the Business Director in the entire creative development workflow, including campaign implementation and coordination with internal teams, Clients, HCPs and vendors.
  • Own and steer the advertising and marketing activities of assigned brands.
  • Front the agency and handle day-to-day client requirements directly.
  • Write creative briefs to guide the creative process.
  • Ensure high-level quality control to deliver error-free output on time and within budget.
  • Organize, generate, and disseminate reports (work-in-progress, contact reports, budgetary), billing, and cost estimates.
  • Lead status and work-in-progress meetings.
  • Coordinate with media partners and/or owners regarding media booking, extension of material deadlines, and media owners’ copy vetting.
  • Perform any ad-hoc duties, projects, and activities as assigned by superiors or management.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in account management, preferably within an agency setting.
