Job summary
A leading consumer goods company in Kajang seeks a Commercial Finance and Business Analyst. This role involves supporting pricing, analyzing trade promotion ROI, and delivering management reports. Candidates should have over 3 years of relevant experience, ideally in FMCG, and be proficient with SAP and Power BI. A collaborative approach with sales and marketing teams is essential.
Qualifications
- 3+ years in finance, commercial analysis, FP&A, business analysis, or audit (with commercial exposure).
- FMCG or consumer goods industry experience preferred.
- Experience partnering with sales and marketing teams.

- Partner with sales and marketing teams to support pricing, promotions, and trade spend decisions.
- Analyze trade promotion ROI and customer profitability.
- Support monthly sales and margin forecasting.

- Support monthly sales and margin forecasting; challenge assumptions and improve accuracy
- Deliver monthly management reports on revenue, gross margin, trade spend, and variances
- Collaborate on annual budget and strategic planning cycles, preparing detailed financial models and scenarios
- Advise on pricing strategy and evaluate commercial deals, ensuring sustainable profitability
- Gather and document business requirements for process and system improvements (e.g. trade spend systems, sales forecasting tools)
- Conduct process mapping and identify efficiency opportunities in sales operations, order-to-cash, or promotion planning
- Partner with IT and other functions to deliver system enhancements and process changes
- Build and maintain dashboards or reporting tools (e.g. Power BI) to improve visibility of key commercial metrics
- Perform root cause analyses of data quality issues or process breakdowns impacting financial results
- Support change management and training for new systems or processes
- 3+ years in finance, commercial analysis, FP&A, business analysis, or audit (with commercial exposure.
- FMCG or consumer goods industry experience preferred.
- Experience partnering with commercial teams (sales, marketing) highly valued.
- Familiarity with trade spend management and pricing processes is a plus.
- Candidates must have experience working with SAP systems.
