Job summary
A leading financial institution in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced professional with a minimum of 7 years in banking. The role involves strengthening the retail risk control team and providing analytical support for credit risk initiatives. Candidates should possess a degree in Banking, Finance, or related fields. The position requires strong analytical skills and experience in credit risk management. This is an opportunity to contribute to strategic risk assessment and support business proposals from a risk perspective.
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of experience, preferably in banking related fields.
Responsibilities
- Strengthening the retail risk control team and improving credit risk analytics.
- Providing analytical support for credit origination review.
- Providing relevant analytics for ECL/management overlay simulation.
- Supporting formulation and review of GRAF.
- Analytical support for business proposals from retail credit risk perspective.
- Undertaking ad-hoc projects as assigned.
Skills
Education
- Strengthening the retail risk control team and improving credit risk analytics.
- Providing analytical support for reviewing the credit origination RG cut-off for MG, AF, CC and AML.
- Providing relevant analytics to review the ECL/management overlay simulation.
- Supporting the formulation and on‑going review of GRAF (formulation and review completed within timeline).
- Providing analytical support / input on business proposals/initiatives from a retail credit risk perspective.
- Undertaking ad‑hoc projects/tasks as assigned by Head of Department/Management from time to time.
Minimum degree in Banking, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics or any other related field.
Minimum 7 years of experience, preferably in banking related fields (credit, reporting, modelling or risk management).
