The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for managing the financial actions of the company, including strategic planning, risk management, budgeting, capital structure, compliance, and reporting. As a key member of the executive leadership team, the CFO will provide strategic financial guidance to support the company's growth, profitability, and long-term sustainability.

• Strategic Leadership
  • Provide financial leadership to support corporate strategy, business planning, and growth initiatives.
  • Advise the CEO and Board of Directors on financial performance, business risks, and develop and implement financial strategies that enhance shareholder value and support long-term objectives.
  • Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes across all business units.
  • Monitor financial performance through KPIs and variance analysis, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Drive cost optimization, capital efficiency, and profitability improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with applicable accounting standards (e.g., MFRS, IFRS).
  • Oversee statutory audits, tax filings, regulatory submissions, and compliance with financial laws and Bursa Malaysia requirements.
  • Maintain strong internal controls and ensure audit readiness across the organization.
• Treasury & Capital Management
  • Manage corporate finance activities including cash flow, funding, banking relationships, and capital structure.
  • Evaluate financing options and manage debt/equity fundraising or refinancing strategies.
  • Optimize working capital and return on invested capital.
  • Oversee the risk management framework and ensure robust internal controls are in place.
  • Work closely with internal audit, legal, and compliance teams to uphold governance standards.
  • Identify and manage financial risks, including market, credit, and operational risks.
• M&A, Corporate Finance & Business Support
  • Support the evaluation and execution of M&A, joint ventures, and corporate restructuring.
  • Conduct financial due diligence and valuation of target companies or divestments.
  • Provide financial leadership in strategic business reviews, feasibility studies, and investment decisions.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing finance team with strong succession plans.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, integrity, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure finance supports operational excellence.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Recognised professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, CIMA) preferred.
• Member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) an advantage.

• Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 5–7 years in a CFO or senior financial leadership role.
• Experience in a public listed company and exposure to capital markets is highly preferred.
• Strong background in financial reporting, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement.

• Proficient in ERP systems, financial modelling, and reporting tools.
