Job summary
A leading tech company is looking for a Technical Writer PLM to develop comprehensive documentation for software products. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience in technical writing, a strong portfolio, and excellent communication skills. This role is essential in collaborating with cross-functional teams and ensuring documentation aligns with product strategies.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of technical writing experience in product development.
- Portfolio showcasing documentation samples.
- Strong understanding of documentation principles and best practices.
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Experience with documentation tools (MadCap Flare, Confluence, etc. or similar tools).
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive documentation for software products.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, QA engineers, and designers.
- Proactively identify documentation needs and propose solutions.
- Create clear, concise, and visually appealing content.
- Conduct research, interviews, and analysis.
- Edit and review content for accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
- Ensure documentation aligns with product strategy and goals.
Location: Austin/SCV/Remote
Job Type: Long Term Contract and Full Time Opportunity
