The Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur is looking for a motivated and energetic Duty Engineer who is overseeing the different shifts in the Engineering Department, and who shares a passion for providing excellent service!

This critical role supervises the activities of the Technicians and is responsible for scheduling and directing maintenance requests in an efficient, courteous and professional manner to achieve maximum customer satisfaction while complying with all Four Seasons’ policies.

• Assists in planning and implementing procedures, systems and controls to ensure an efficient operation of the Engineering Department.
• Maintains logs on movement and inventory of stock items and tools.
• Maintains par stocks and the distribution of items.
• Handles the primary research and follow‑up necessary on the purchasing of equipment, replacement of parts and repairs.
• Supervises the daily operations and ensures scheduled maintenance is carried out as planned.
• Provides quality service that ensures guest satisfaction.
• Answers inquiries in an efficient and friendly manner and ensures the smooth running of the shifts.
• Handles all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible.
• Responsible for the upkeep, monitoring and controlling all mechanical and electrical plants of the hotel.

• Must have an extensive knowledge of the Engineering operations and must have a minimum of 2‑3 years of experience as a site in a similar role in an international hotel or resort.
• Must have Chargeman Certificate (A4) and certificates in related discipline.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Able to work a flexible schedule with the ability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays as per business demands and needs.
• Must have the right to work in Malaysia.
