This role partners closely with the Tech Lead DBA, focusing on day‑to‑day operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of mission‑critical SQL Server and MongoDB environments in a high‑availability production setting—ensuring reliability, performance, and compliance for corporate applications.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Database Administrator (DBA) who thrives in hands‑on operations, loves solving complex issues, and enjoys collaborating across international teams.

• Support daily database operations: issues, tickets, RFCs, and user requests within agreed timelines
• Perform routine maintenance and ensure backup compliance, including recovery testing
• Administer and manage high‑availability production environments for Microsoft SQL Server and MongoDB
• Handle installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades for large‑scale database architectures
• Participate in IT projects as a technical resource for database design and implementation
• Refine and automate recurring processes; track issues and maintain strong documentation
• Conduct performance tuning and optimization using native monitoring tools and troubleshooting techniques
• Apply data modeling best practices for integration, scalability, and performance requirements
• Independently resolve real‑time issues end‑to‑end, ensuring fast restoration of services
• Share knowledge and technical expertise with team members and peers
• Participate in rotational 24/7 on‑call duty to ensure system availability

• 9+ years of proven experience in Microsoft SQL Server infrastructure design, administration, development, and implementation
• Proven hands‑on experience in MongoDB administration in production environments
• Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent
• Experience with at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud), including integrations and on‑prem to cloud migrations
• Solid knowledge of Windows Server and Red Hat Linux environments (administration, scripting, integration) and virtualization technologies
• Experience automating/scripting routine DBA activities (maintenance, monitoring, deployments) is highly valued
• Demonstrated experience contributing to IT projects as a technical resource
• Strong English communication skills with a positive, open‑minded, can‑do attitude
• Self‑motivated with attention to detail, strong logical thinking, and a drive for technical excellence
• Openness to evolving technologies and willingness to support R&D/Data Science teams adopting new database tools

• Experience with PostgreSQL
• Knowledge of containers (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with tools like RedGate SQL Tools, SQL Sentry, or similar
• Experience with backup solutions (Avamar, Veeam, Azure Backup, Cohesity)
• Background in Big Data, BI reporting, or Data Science

• Hands‑on operational DBA role in a dynamic, international environment
• Work on high‑availability, mission‑critical database platforms
• Strong collaboration with a Tech Lead DBA and cross‑functional global teams
