Job summary

A food manufacturing company in Malaysia is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager/Executive to oversee quality systems and ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, and ISO standards. The ideal candidate will have a degree and at least three years of experience in the food industry, demonstrating strong leadership and innovative qualities. Responsibilities include managing quality functions, setting product specifications, and leading project teams. This role may require long hours when necessary.

Qualifications

  • Degree holder with minimum 3 years working experience in food industry.
  • Strong knowledge of GMP, HACCP and ISO 9001.
  • Well versed in quality and technical parameters of food and beverages.
  • Cheerful disposition with positive working attitude.

  • Establish and maintain quality systems and procedures.
  • Oversee quality functions including in-coming, in-process, and outgoing.
  • Set product specifications.

Job Position : Quality Assurance Manager / Executive

Basic Function:

  • As HOD of the department & planning for the whole activity run of QA/QC.
  • Maintaining all the HACCP/GMP & ISO documentation & ensure its comply to rules & regulation.
  • Liase with RND for the product Spec/ Label Review.
  • Liase with S&M for the customer complaint/ Quality Issue.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Responsible to establish and maintain quality systems and procedures.
  • Oversee the quality functions including In-coming, In-process, Outgoing and Customer satisfaction.
  • Product specification setting up.
  • Leading the new project team. Involving in idea contribution for packaging, product, artwork concept.
  • Laboratory management.
  • GMP, HACCP and ISO 9001 quality system maintenance.
Requirements:
  • Degree holder with minimum 3 years working experience in food industry.
  • Strong knowledge of GMP, HACCP and ISO 9001.
  • Well verse in quality and technical parameter of food and beverages will be an advantages.
  • Cheerful disposition with very positive working attitude.
  • Resourceful and have leadership qualities.
  • Innovative and very initiated in work development.
  • Hard working and willing to work long hours when required.
