Celestica is expanding a new location in Penang. The new hires would join our global design engineering teams in developing leading-edge Hardware Platform Solutions in Networking, Storage, and server solutions from general‑purpose to customized Cloud, AI, machine learning, Edge, and 5G deployments.

Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:

• Primary responsibilities including EMC design and test. Work closely with internal team, customer and suppliers to deliver on time, cost and quality from an EMC perspective, and improve EMC one‑time pass rate.
• Provide guidance during product design, such as EMC risk assessment, schematic review, PCB layout review, mechanical drawing review, and lessons learned of EMC related issues.
• Be responsible for the EMC test case specification according to the product requirements.
• Be responsible for verification on EMC test, communication with external test laboratories, analysis of test results, and generation of test reports.
• Be responsible for applying the new product for safety and EMC certification, and obtaining approval.
• Provide technical support for customer projects on EMC related topics.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in EMC test, design, and certification.
• Proficient in EMC principle.
• Proficient in EMC standards and test, experience with EMC test equipment and test software.
• Proficient in using oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer and receiver.
• Strong ability to troubleshoot or resolve issues related to EMC and safety compliance.
• Familiar with worldwide certifications and agencies such as UL, TUV, FCC, VCCI, BSMI, KCC, ANATEL, and NEBS.
• Familiar with international regulatory standards such as CISPR32/35, GR1089, EN300386, UL60950, IEC62368, etc.
• Experience in EMC design of Storage/Server/Communication (Network switch products) is preferred.
• Experience in AC or DC power supply EMC design is preferred.
• Experience in HFSS/CST/SPICE or other EMC simulation is preferred.
• Fluent English listening, speaking, reading and writing skills, capable of international communication, CET‑4.
• Excellent documentation skills, including record maintenance/tracking and understanding of document traceability.
• Good initiative and positive personal personality, self‑motivation.
• A detail‑oriented individual, able to work both in a team environment and independently.

• Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.
• Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data.
• Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required.
• Occasional travel may be required.

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in EMC test, design, and certification.

Full‑time Bachelor or Master Major in Microwave, Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical Engineering, etc.
