Heads the Information Technology Department through the use of IT as a strategic tool to support and service the immediate and future business needs of the organization.

• Streamline operation of the IT Department in alignment with the business objectives of the organization.
• Organize resources and set goals and objectives.
• Formulate and implement IT strategies, policies and procedures.
• Serve information processing by planning, organizing, evaluating IT operations and managing staff effectively.
• Lead the team to make use of IT as a strategic tool to support and educate end users.
• Project Management, develop budgets, promote process improvement and resolve conflict.
• Ensure smooth and proper development and implementation of processes to ensure quality of deliverables.
• Improve IT Infrastructure (Enterprise Servers, Network capacity and Security) based on business requirements.
• Work closely with decision makers in other departments to identify, recommend, develop, implement and support cost‑effective technology solutions for all aspects of the organization.
• Define and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Work with groups within IT infrastructure and IT applications in resolving problem issues.

• Plan and allocate resources for IT projects.
• Plan and allocate computers and printers for users.
• Approve overtime, annual leave and gate pass.
• Verify and approve purchase request, purchase order and invoice within allowed limit.

• Tertiary Qualification – Degree in Computer Science or IT related field or related working experience.
• Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
• Good prioritization skills and be flexible enough to adapt plans.
• Effective communications and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Excellent IT skills combined with a good head for business.
• Excellent networking skills with vendors and service providers.
• Minimum 8 years related working experience at the managerial level.

Knowledge with AI tools and Analytics tools will be an added advantage.
