A prominent marketing agency in Malaysia seeks an experienced Brand Manager to develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies. Responsibilities include executing multi-channel campaigns, collaborating with media agencies, and managing relationships with stakeholders. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience, proficiency in analytical tools, and a passion for an active lifestyle. This role requires strong project management skills and a Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Develop and implement comprehensive brand marketing strategies aligned with global brand guidelines and local market dynamics.
Define annual marketing calendars and budget allocations across ATL (above-the-line), BTL (below-the-line), and digital initiatives.
Localize global campaigns to resonate with the Malaysian market while maintaining brand consistency.
Campaign Management & Content
Plan and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, retail, OOH, and event-based activations.
Create and manage localized content strategies across owned social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.) for each brand.
Collaborate with creative teams or agencies to develop impactful brand assets and storytelling.
Retail & E-commerce Integration
Ensure alignment between branding efforts and performance marketing across e-commerce platforms including Lazada, Shopee, TikTok Shop, and brand-owned websites.
Collaborate with commercial teams to plan and promote product launches, promotions, and consumer campaigns.
Partnerships & Stakeholder Engagement
Build and manage relationships with media agencies, KOLs, brand ambassadors, retail partners, and event organizers.
Work closely with global brand principals to communicate market needs and align on campaign goals.
Conduct regular market research and competitive analysis to inform campaign direction and identify market opportunities.
Monitor KPIs and generate timely reports on campaign effectiveness, brand health, and ROI for internal and external stakeholders.
Work cross-functionally with internal departments such as Merchandising, Commercial and Operations to ensure cohesive marketing execution.
Reports to country Marketing Director.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in brand management or marketing, ideally in sports retail, lifestyle or fashion sectors
Proven track record of developing and executing successful 360° marketing campaigns that have driven measurable business results
Proficient in marketing analytical tools such as Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, and Microsoft Excel, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
Hands-on experience with digital marketing tools and platforms, especially paid media, social platforms, and e-commerce.
Effective project management and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally
Fluent in English and proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia is a plus.
Passion for running, and active lifestyle is highly advantageous.
