We are hiring a Senior Java Backend Developer for SmartTV to join our team!

You will play a key role in the development, customization, and maintenance of applications and backend systems for Smart TV platforms. This position requires experience in Smart TV development environments, multimedia technologies, and a deep understanding of scalable, high‑performance architectures, with the goal of delivering exceptional experiences across a wide range of devices.

• Be part of the Agile TV team, contributing to the development and evolution of leading TV products and services, providing the best TV experience.
• Help in the design of the architecture.
• Participate in the development of new products and the enhancement of existing ones, contributing to architectural decisions (e.g., Next‑Generation TV Platform).
• Design and implement new features to support backend modules and improve platform functionality.
• Develop high‑performance, reliable, secure, and scalable applications.

• 8+ years of experience in backend development with Java.
• Expertise in software development best practices (SOLID, Clean Code), including optimization, documentation, and testing.
• Strong knowledge of Java 8+, Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security), and dependency injection.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with database technologies such as SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis).
• Experience with multithreading, concurrency, and performance tuning.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Proficiency with Git and version control best practices.
• Experience working in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
• Experience working with AWS.
• Fluent in Spanish (C1/C2) and English (B2+ or higher).
• Must be residing in Spain with a valid work permit.
