A tech startup in Bilbao seeks a highly skilled In‑House Legal Counselor to enhance its legal framework. The role focuses on managing business law and GDPR compliance, requiring a Juris Doctor and at least 5 years of legal experience. Responsibilities include negotiating contracts, ensuring legal compliance, and advising on various legal matters. The position is fully remote with flexible hours and competitive compensation based on experience. Proficiency in Spanish and English is essential.

- Licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Minimum 5 years of legal experience with a background in business law and data protection.
- Experience in the technology or health sector is highly preferred.
Responsabilidades
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts.
- Ensure compliance with business and data protection laws.
- Implement data protection strategies as the Data Protection Officer.
- Provide legal advice on various issues including intellectual property, employment law, and corporate governance.
- Develop internal policies to reflect current laws.
- Conduct training sessions for staff on legal compliance.
