Descripción de la vacante
A logistics solutions provider in Madrid is searching for a Senior Operations Manager to oversee a logistics operations centre. This role entails managing the operations team, ensuring service quality, and maintaining customer relations while leading improvements in logistics processes. Candidates should have over 4 years of logistics management experience, a university degree (ideally a Master's), and fluency in English and Spanish. This position is fully on-site.
Formación
- Over 4 years of experience in logistics management positions.
- Fluent in English (B2) and advanced level in Spanish (C1).
- Experience in Lean or Continuous improvement is beneficial.
Responsabilidades
- Manage the logistics operations team and build a people-centred culture.
- Ensure quality service and team management coordination.
- Act as the main point of communication with the client.
- Develop leadership skills in team managers and members.
- Supervise and optimize logistics processes such as returns and product reconditioning.
- Maintain strong customer relations and respond to incidents.
- Establish a plan for continuous improvement and lean culture.
- Monitor KPIs for safety, quality, and productivity.
- Plan campaigns and resources based on client needs.

We are looking for the best SENIOR OPERATIONS MANAGER willing to participate in the growth of an important e-commerce Logistics Operations Centre of one of our top customers in the south of Madrid.
Reporting directly to the Site Manager, the mission of the position is to manage the logistics centre, organizing and supervising the different operational and management areas by leading the teams of this operation.
- Managing the operations team, creating a people-centred culture.
- Ensure compliance with the quality of service and coordination of the management of the teams.
- You will be the main point of daily communication with the client in order to meet their needs and requirements.
- Development of the teams of Managers in charge, as well as ensuring the correct leadership of all team members.
- Management of the productive activities of the work centre.
- Supervision and optimization of logistics processes, including returns and product reconditioning.
- Maintaining customer relations, satisfying their needs and responding to any possible incidents that may arise.
- Establish a continuous improvement plan and lean culture.
- Monitoring KPI (safety, quality, productivity, etc).
- Planning of campaigns and resources based on the client's needs.
- More than 4 years of experience in similar LOGISTICS positions MANAGING large teams
- University degree (valuable Master in logistics or supply chain management)
- Fluent level of ENGLISH (B2)
- Advanced level of SPANISH (C1)
- Valuable experience in Lean / Continuous improvement
- Position 100% on-site.
