Job summary
A global fast-food chain in Petaling Jaya is looking for a Senior Associate responsible for supporting management reporting, business performance evaluation, and compliance processes. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in finance or a related field, and 3 to 5 years of experience in financial analysis. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis tools like PowerBI is required. Store travel may be necessary, and fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is preferred.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting/business/analysis related field.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years' experience in financial and business analysis.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills are a must.
- Experience with big data and analysis tools is an advantage.
- Fast learner, self-starter, and analytical mindset preferred.
- Store travel and field work may be required.
- Proficient in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.

- Support the HOD in compliance and process improvements.
- Manage business performance and reporting.
- Analyze and manage large volumes of data.
- Recommend solutions to improve financial systems.

1) Functions as the key support individual to the HOD driving compliance, process improvements and deliver efficient Cross Functional support. 2) Responsible for all aspects of business performance and management reporting. 3) This function includes analyzing and managing large volumes of data (financial and non-financial data) for business performance evaluation. 4) The role will also include recommending and implementing solutions to improve key financial systems, processes & controls and ensure the integrity and accuracy of data. 5) Key stakeholders include Cross Functional departments such as Accounting Team, IT & Digital, Supply Chain, Marketing, HR, Development, Operations, Franchising and Owner/Operators.
Senior Associate and above.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting/business/analysis related field.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years' experience in financial and business analysis & analytics.
- Advanced Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint) skill is a must.
- Experience with big data, analysis & visualization tools (ERP, MySQL, PowerBI, VBA/Macros, Qlikview) is an added advantage.
- Fast learner, self-starter and analytical business mind is preferred.
- Store travel and field work may be required when necessary.
- Proficient in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
