Job summary

A logistics company located in Subang Jaya, Malaysia, is seeking a qualified candidate to enhance service levels and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include managing costs and billing for shipments, facilitating payments, and resolving customer queries. Candidates should possess knowledge of the forwarding industry, have strong communication skills, and ideally, 3-4 years of relevant experience or be fresh graduates. The role requires proficient Microsoft Office skills and fluency in Bahasa and English.

Job description
Overview

JOB PURPOSE: To improve service level, build stronger relationships with customers, and provide higher customer satisfaction at all levels.

Responsibilities
  • Handle costing and billing for shipments
  • Prepare e-payments and/or yellow vouchers for payments to the shipping liners/co-loaders for D/O collection
  • Update customers on the status of their shipments via email
  • Resolve customers’ queries by determining the cause of the problem and providing the best solution
  • Coordinate with Operations and Sales to meet customers’ needs
  • Service and build relationships with existing customers assigned by Management and further develop new trade lanes
  • Update shipment milestones in Value+
  • Billing, costing and document sorting before sending to customers
  • Filing of documents into the cloud
  • Assist on MNC accounts
Job Requirements
  • Knowledge in forwarding industry
