We are looking for a Key Account Manager (KAM) – Group Hospitals to manage and grow strategic relationships with hospital groups across Malaysia. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth, securing contracts/tenders, and expanding product penetration. You will be the primary commercial interface with group‑level stakeholders and work closely with internal teams to deliver results.
Responsibilities
- Manage group hospital accounts at corporate and hospital levels
- Develop and execute strategic account plans
- Build strong relationships with procurement, clinicians, and nursing leaders
- Achieve and exceed annual sales and margin targets
- Lead tender submissions, contract negotiations, and pricing strategies
- Identify opportunities for new product introductions and competitor conversions
- Coordinate product evaluations, clinical trials, and in‑service training
- Collaborate with operations, regulatory, finance, and supply chain teams
- Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts, and account documentation
- Prepare regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and market intelligence
Requirements
Education & Experience
- Degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of sales or key account management experience
- Proven track record managing hospital groups or large healthcare accounts in Malaysia
- Background in medical devices, healthcare supplies, or pharmaceuticals preferred
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills
- Strategic thinking with execution capability
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Solid understanding of hospital procurement and tender processes
- Analytical mindset with financial and margin awareness
- Proficient in CRM and MS Office
