Job description

We are looking for a Key Account Manager (KAM) – Group Hospitals to manage and grow strategic relationships with hospital groups across Malaysia. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth, securing contracts/tenders, and expanding product penetration. You will be the primary commercial interface with group‑level stakeholders and work closely with internal teams to deliver results.

Responsibilities
  • Manage group hospital accounts at corporate and hospital levels
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans
  • Build strong relationships with procurement, clinicians, and nursing leaders
  • Achieve and exceed annual sales and margin targets
  • Lead tender submissions, contract negotiations, and pricing strategies
  • Identify opportunities for new product introductions and competitor conversions
  • Coordinate product evaluations, clinical trials, and in‑service training
  • Collaborate with operations, regulatory, finance, and supply chain teams
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts, and account documentation
  • Prepare regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and market intelligence
Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of sales or key account management experience
  • Proven track record managing hospital groups or large healthcare accounts in Malaysia
  • Background in medical devices, healthcare supplies, or pharmaceuticals preferred
  • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills
  • Strategic thinking with execution capability
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Solid understanding of hospital procurement and tender processes
