Job summary
A leading holiday firm in Kuala Lumpur is looking for an Accounting Executive to manage financial reports and assist in budgeting. The role requires a Diploma or Degree in Accounting/Finance and a minimum of 3 years' experience in accounting. Candidates must have strong analytical skills, proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Office, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Join a dynamic team and contribute to various financial projects and audits.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in accounting; fresh graduates are welcome.
- Solid working knowledge of accounting systems and software applications.
- Ability to work independently and as a team.
Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management reports and assist in budgeting.
- Monitor cash flow and daily sales collections.
- Ensure timely submission of SST/GST and tax filings.
- Review invoices and reconcile statements.

- Prepare monthly management reports, schedules and assist in budgeting.
- Monitor cash flow, petty cash and daily sales collection from outlets.
- Ensure timely submission of SST/GST, tax filings and other statutory reports.
- Review supplier invoices, reconcile statements and follow up on outstanding items.
- Assist Finance Manager in audit schedules, cost analysis and ad-hoc projects.
- Supervise junior accounts staff and ensure proper filing and documentation.
- Other ad-hoc projects, duties and responsibilities as required by management.
- Diploma/Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in accounting. Fresh graduate are welcome to apply.
- Solid working knowledge of accounting systems and software applications (e.g. SQL and Microsoft Office applications).
- Ability to work independently and as a team.
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced business environment.
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.
- Good understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting skills as well as attention to detail.
