Responsibilities

The role of Junior Account Executive focuses on supporting the accounting team in preparing accurate and timely financial information under supervision. This role provides exposure to accounting operations and client management while building a strong foundation in professional accounting practice.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Perform bookkeeping tasks and accurately post financial data into the accounting system
  • Assist in the preparation of bank reconciliations, AR and AP ageing, and basic schedules
  • Assist in payroll processing and related documentation
  • Support the preparation of financial reports under guidance from seniors or managers
  • Coordinate with clients to obtain required documents and information in a timely manner
  • Assist in liaising with auditors, tax agents, and company secretaries when required
  • Follow up on client documentation and statutory submissions under supervision
  • Support process improvements and administrative tasks as assigned by seniors or managers
  • Seek guidance from seniors and managers and assist teammates whenever required

You will work closely with Senior Account Executives, Managers, and Bookkeepers to ensure client deliverables are completed accurately and on time. All work will be reviewed by seniors or managers to ensure quality and compliance.

Your journey will begin with a structured Orientation and Training Programme, conducted on a monthly basis. Regular guidance, coaching, and on-the-job training will be provided to support your professional development. Quarterly town hall sessions will be organised to keep the team updated on company developments and encourage idea-sharing.
