A technology firm in Selangor, Malaysia, seeks a Sales Manager to develop effective sales strategies, maintain strong distributor relationships, and identify new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree and at least 8 years of sales experience in the IT or technology sector. Responsibilities include preparing competitive quotes, conducting consultations, and monitoring market trends. Candidates should have excellent communication and negotiation skills. This position requires a proactive and results-driven approach, along with experience in CRM tools.
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand market share.
Maintain strong relationships with distributors, partners, and key clients; act as a point of escalation to ensure customer satisfaction.
Identify and acquire new business opportunities through networking, cold outreach, industry events, and referrals.
Prepare and present competitive quotes, pricing, contract terms, and delivery schedules.
Conduct pre- and post-sales consultations to ensure successful onboarding and continued client engagement.
Monitor market trends, competitors’ strategies, and customer feedback to adjust sales approaches and offerings.
Produce accurate sales forecasts, performance reports, and strategic plans.
Set clear sales targets, design incentive structures, and drive team performance to exceed objectives.
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to strengthen brand presence and build networks.
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field.
Minimum 8 years of proven experience in sales, preferably within the IT or technology sector.
Strong understanding of ICT products, solutions, and distribution ecosystems.
Excellent communication, and negotiation skills.
Proactive, results-driven, and able to work independently in a fast‑paced environments.
Experience with CRM tools and data‑driven decision‑making is a plus.
