We are seeking a responsible, well-organized, and caring Home Tutor cum Household Manager to support a private household. This role combines academic tutoring for children with overall household management responsibilities, ensuring a well-structured learning environment and smooth daily household operations.

• Monday to Friday: 10.30 am - 7.30 pm
• Saturday: Half day (9.00am to 1.00pm or 2.00pm to 6.00pm, on a rotational basis)
• Replacement rest day provided as applicable

• Provide academic tutoring to children based on the assigned syllabus (e.g. Cambridge IGCSE or equivalent).
• Communicate progress updates to parents regularly.
• Coordinate and monitor the children’s daily routines, including school schedules, learning activities, tuition classes, and enrichment programmes.
• Liaise with school teachers, tutors, and enrichment providers to track academic progress and schedules.
• Supervise homework completion, revision routines, and study discipline.
• Ensure a structured, conducive learning environment at home.
• Monitor academic progress and provide regular updates to parents.
• Support examination and school-related coordination, including timetables and key academic milestones.

• Oversee daily household operations to ensure smooth and efficient functioning.
• Coordinate household schedules, routines, and activities.
• Supervise and coordinate housekeepers, security personnel, gardener, etc.
• Manage household supplies, basic purchasing, and inventory.
• Liaise with vendors, maintenance personnel, and service providers when required.
• Ensure household rules, cleanliness, and organization standards are maintained.
• Maintain open, clear communication with the family regarding household matters
• Perform other administrative duties as required from time to time

• Diploma or Degree in Education or a related field preferred.
• Prior experience as a home tutor, teacher, or private educator.
• Strong organizational, coordination, and time management skills
• Familiarity with the Cambridge IGCSE syllabus is required.
• Experience in household management or similar roles is a plus.
• Strong organization, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Patient, responsible, trustworthy, and child-friendly.
• Discreet, trustworthy, and respectful of confidentiality and family privacy
• Proactive, dependable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Willing to be based at the employer’s residence in Ipoh, Perak
