Responsibilities
- Conduct market research on the competitive landscape of home appliance chain distribution channels in Malaysia, develop targeted expansion strategies, identify and onboard high-quality chain distribution partners (e.g., home appliance chain stores, large-scale distributors, etc.), and achieve channel signing targets.
- Establish and maintain long‑term, stable cooperative relationships with home appliance chain distribution channels in Malaysia, define data acquisition standards, frequency, and access permissions, and build an efficient channel data collaboration network.
- Promote the company’s data products (e.g., sales data analysis reports, price monitoring tools, data consulting services, etc.) to chain distribution channel clients and achieve the channel‑side product sales targets.
- Conduct preliminary verification of data provided by channels to ensure data completeness, consistency, and accuracy, thereby supplying qualified data sources for the company’s data team to perform in‑depth analysis.
- Monitor the data submission timeline, establish an early warning mechanism to ensure all cooperative channels provide data continuously and stably, thereby supporting the company’s service delivery to home appliance brand clients.
- Collaborate with the company’s brand client service team to understand the data needs of home appliance brand clients (e.g., specific channel sales monitoring, competitor channel layout analysis, etc.), and coordinate resources from the channel side to meet these requirements.
- Provide value‑added services to cooperative channel clients, including data interpretation, industry trend analysis, and sales optimisation recommendations, to enhance channel partnership stickiness and renewal rates.
- Conduct regular visits to cooperative channels and home appliance brand clients to gather market feedback and pain points, providing a foundation for the company’s data product iterations and service optimisation.
- Collaborate closely with the company’s data analysis, product, and client service teams to align channel data dynamics and client needs, ensuring the efficiency of data product delivery and service implementation.
- Track channel policies and competitive dynamics in Malaysia’s home appliance market, produce channel insight reports, and provide support for the company’s business strategy adjustments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or above, with preference given to majors in Marketing, International Trade, Business Administration, and data‑related fields.
- Proficient in marketing theories and channel management practices, familiar with the home appliance industry chain (especially the sales channel segment) as well as the local market landscape, channel regulations, and consumption trends of Malaysia’s home appliance sector. Knowledgeable about the characteristics of the big data consulting services industry, and well‑versed in the core value and promotion logic of data products.
- English and Malay as working languages, with fluent communication, negotiation, and written expression skills; proficient in business etiquette, equipped with excellent cross‑cultural communication abilities, and capable of efficiently engaging with local channels and clients in Malaysia.
- Over 8 years of work experience in marketing or channel management, including at least 3 years of relevant experience in the home appliance industry, with a thorough understanding of the operational model of home appliance chain distribution channels.
- Preference will be given to candidates with local channel development experience or accumulated client resources in Malaysia’s home appliance market, along with a proven track record of successfully developing home appliance chain distribution channels, securing channel partnerships, and achieving product sales targets.
- Master core methodologies in business negotiation, customer relationship management (CRM), and channel operations, with a foundational ability to judge data quality and analytical thinking.
