Brew Crew Responsibilities
- Serve a full range of products from our famous beverages to delicious food and beautiful merchandise.
- Guide customers through their coffee & tea experience from beginning to end providing exceptional customer service.
- Be a World Class Barista (& Tearista!) serving our amazing customers. You bring the passion, we provide the training, and you share the best specialty coffee & tea with the customer.
- Handle cash transactions honestly, efficiently, and accurately.
- Create meaningful moments – share your knowledge, our heritage, and our sustainability practices with customers.
- Care about the safety & health of our Brew Crew and customers.
- Take pride in the appearance of your café, maintaining a clean and organized environment, in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Cafe Supervisor Responsibilities
- Maintains an efficient, friendly service standard at all time.
- Handle cash transactions honestly, efficiently, and accurately.
- Assists in the supervision of the profitable café.
- Assists the Café & Assistant Manager in planning and executing all sales promotions effectively and efficiently.
- Politely answers the telephone and customer questions.
- Responds proactively to prevent and resolve customer service situations.
- Deals with all drink and food items during preparation safely.
- Sells and serves baked goods and miscellaneous food items to customers.
- Verbally receives and calls back customer orders in a friendly manner.
- Completes daily report as assigned.
- Informs the Café Manager / Assistant Manager of any operational inconsistencies.
- Maintains acceptable amounts of coffee, baked goods and supplies for the bar.
- Orders baked goods, coffee and supplies when needed.
- Performs opening and closing duties.
- Reports all employee accidents to the Café Manager / Assistant Manager and complete all personnel forms when necessary.
- Reports potential safety hazards to Café Manager / Assistant Manager.
- Restocks shelves when necessary.
- Cleans the bar area, floor, grinders, take out trash, etc routinely.
- Takes bank deposit to the bank and brings change back if necessary.
