Job description

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Nurse located in Bukit Minyak, Penang.

Provide occupational health programs and services that support employee health and wellness strategies. Enhances the employee's health and performance through case management, health coaching, comprehensive worksite-based health surveillance, and health and safety education. Provides a safe, effective, and early return to work program to facilitate restoration of the employee's health.

What a typical day looks like:

Oversee and manage the daily administrative and operational activities of occupational health services.

Provide initial assessment, treatment, and referral for occupational injuries and illnesses, ensuring timely escalation when required.

Support and participate in industrial accident and near-miss investigations, including documentation, root cause analysis, and follow-up actions.

Assure compliance with regulatory requirements related to clinical operations.

Responsible for securing and developing all records, equipment, and programs related to occupational health services.

Manage the required physical evaluation programs and services to meet regulatory requirement.

Collaborate with Environmental Health and Safety, Human Resources develop and implement occupational health programs by providing subject-matter expertise.

Ensure accurate, timely, and individual incident reporting, with zero tolerance for under-reporting or consolidation of cases.

Support internal and external audits (e.g. RBA, OSHA, ISO,KKM) by maintaining proper documentation, records, and compliance evidence.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
  • Registered Nurses (SRN)
  • Minimum 2-3 years clinical nursing experience – Emergency / A&E
  • Experience in handling acute injuries (cuts, burns, eye injury, center trauma)
  • 1-3 years in manufacturing / industrial clinic / onsite medical center
  • Experience managing:
    • Industrial accidents & first aid treatment
    • Shift-based operations (day/night, high headcount)
    • High-volume walk-in cases
  • Familiarity with:
    • Fit-to-work / return-to-work assessment
  • Knowledge or hand-on exposure to:
    • RBA Code of Conduct – Health & Safety
    • OSHA 1994 (Malaysia)
    • SOCSO reporting & claims
    • MC verification & medical leave tracking
  • Comfortable with :
    • Manual systems and digital systems
    • Confidential medical data handling
    • Basic Life Support (BLS), AED, First Aid Trainer
    • Experience in RBA / ISO / internal audits
