• Maintain a Clean and Organized Workspace: Take ownership of maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the work area, apparatus, and equipment.
• Prepare Samples: Prepare samples meticulously, following established procedures to ensure accurate and consistent results.
• Record and Update Results: Accurately record and update test results under the guidance of the chemist, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
• Evaluate and Improve Safety Procedures: Continuously evaluate laboratory safety procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Maintain and Troubleshoot Instruments: Maintain laboratory instruments to ensure proper working order, perform routine maintenance, and troubleshoot malfunctions when needed.
• Contribute to Technical Documentation: Assist in writing technical papers and reports, and help prepare standards and specifications for processes, facilities, products, or tests.
• Perform Assigned Duties: Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to contribute to the overall success of the team.
