Human Resources Manager and Translator
Job summary
A reputable building materials company based in Gua Musang, Malaysia, seeks a qualified HR professional to oversee recruitment and compliance processes. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field and at least 2 years of industry experience. Proficiency in multiple languages, including English and Malay, is essential for effective communication and document translation. Competitive salary range of RM 4000-6000 with negotiation possibilities for exceptional candidates.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in human resources management.
- Proficient in spoken and written Chinese, English, and Malay.
- Capable of bilingual communication for negotiations and translation.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with Malaysian labor market policies.
- Develop recruitment plans and organize candidate processes.
- Handle work visas and other relevant permits.
- Complete onboarding training and compile HR reports.
- Draft and translate project documents.
Skills
Education
Required Skills: Human resources experience; proficiency in writing documents in English and Malay; conversational and translation skills in Chinese, English, and Malay.
- Business Coordination and Development: Familiar with Malaysian labor market policies, ensuring recruitment and employment are legal and compliant.
- Recruitment and Screening: Develop recruitment plans based on Malaysian project needs, organize candidate selection, interviews, and background checks.
- Compliance and Permit Processing: Experience in handling work visas and other relevant permits.
- Pre-Job Training and Placement: Able to complete basic training such as onboarding training.
- Reporting: Compile HR-related reports.
- Responsible for drafting and translating project documents and handling daily translation and communication.
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree or above in Human Resources Management, English, Malay, or related fields.
- Industry Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in human resources management.
- Proficient in spoken and written Chinese, as well as spoken and written English and Malay, and capable of bilingual communication for business negotiations and document translation.
RM: 4000-6000 (Salary may be negotiated for exceptionally qualified candidates)
