【Japanese Speaker】 Interpreter cum Translator
Job summary
A leading recruitment firm in Malaysia is looking for a skilled translator/interpreter proficient in Japanese and English. Responsibilities include translating documents, interpreting during meetings, and assisting with management communications. A diploma or equivalent is required, along with excellent writing skills and computer literacy. The role offers a salary range of approximately RM4,400 - RM5,000, with various benefits, including medical coverage, annual bonuses, and paid leave.

- Excellent writing skills and command of grammar in Japanese & English.
- Good in documents translation and able to be a translator/interpreter.
Responsibilities
- Perform document translation from English/Bahasa Malaysia to Japanese and vice versa.
- Act as an interpreter during meetings.
- Assist in email and document translations for management communication.
- Conduct Japanese language classes in the future.

- Acting as an interpreter during meeting or any other occasion that’s required such
- Assist MD in emails and documents translation for disseminate & communicating with others management staffs and employees
- Assist others department/section in tasks assigned and required
- Be a sensei - to conduct Japanese language class in the future
- Ensure confidentiality is kept at all time.
- Carry out any other responsibilities which are required in future
- Requirement
- Minimum qualification Diploma OR equivalent
- Excellent writing skills and command of grammar in Japanese & English – essential
- Must able to cope with a changing and demanding workload with dateline
- Good in documents translation and be a translator/interpreter
- Must be computer literate
