Clinic Assistant
Job summary
A healthcare institution in Kuala Lumpur is seeking compassionate Clinic Assistants to enhance patient care services. The ideal candidates will be SPM graduates, with experience in administrative or hospitality roles preferred. Responsibilities include managing medical records, recording patient vitals, and coordinating with departments for tests or admissions. Multilingual candidates will have an advantage. Qualifications
- Experience in administrative or hospitality type jobs is preferred.
- Ability to interact respectfully with patients, including those with impaired cognition.
- Multi-lingual skills will be an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Handle and track medical records of patients in the clinic.
- Maintain confidentiality and safety of patient records.
- Record patient vitals like height, weight, and blood pressure.
- Coordinate patients for diagnostic tests or admissions.
- Chaperon doctors during clinical treatments or procedures.
- Ensure forms are filled accurately according to doctor’s orders.

Handling, tracing and tracking medical records of patient in clinic to/from the Medical Record Department/counter prior/after the clinic session
Maintain confidentiality and safety of all patients’ records
Take and record height and weight, temperature/ blood pressure or urine dipsticks of patients in the Outpatient notes.
Coordinate patient to other departments for diagnostic tests, lab investigations or admission if necessary.
Chaperon doctor on clinical treatments or procedure.
Ensure appropriate forms such as lab forms, charge forms etc are filled up as ordered by Doctor and checked correct patient identifications as per hospital policy.
SPM graduate
Has experience in similar or other administrative or hospitality type of jobs.
5.5 days work and follow clinic operation hours
Interact respectfully with patients, including those with impaired cognition.
Good verbal and written English language and Bahasa Malaysia, sufficient to perform required tasks. Multi- lingual will be an advantage.
