Job summary

A prominent retail company in Johor Bahru seeks a Retail Supervisor to oversee daily operations and lead the sales team in achieving targets. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of supervisory experience in a retail or customer service environment, along with strong leadership and communication skills. Job Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day retail shop activities to ensure smooth operations.
  • Lead the team in achieving sales targets.
  • Supervise, schedule, and monitor the performance of Sales Advisor.
  • Assist in staff evaluations or disciplinary follow-up.
  • Ensure proper grooming and punctuality of the team.
  • Oversee product arrangement and visual merchandising according to brand guidelines.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and minimize shrinkage or loss.
  • Prepare daily sales reports, shift summaries, and stock movement updates.
  • Assist in interviewing qualified Sales Advisor.
  • Assist in preparing rosters, overtime claims, and monthly HR submissions.
Job Requirements
  • Minimum Secondary level education or equivalent; Diploma in retail management, business, or related field is an advantage.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in retail, customer service, golf-related sales, or hospitality sales environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Good understanding of sales, merchandising, and customer service standards.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Competent in using POS systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an added advantage.
  • Willing to work on shifts, including weekends, and public holidays.
