Requirements

  • Computer literacy: MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Teams.
  • Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Availability to work shifts, including off days, rest days and public holidays.
Responsibilities
Daily Responsibilities
  • Staff management – create manpower schedules.
  • Attend briefings with staff and promoters.
  • Check staff attendance and attire.
  • Share yesterday’s sales achievement, today’s sales budget and current sales achievement.
  • Disseminate customer‑voice information and address arising issues.
  • Provide product‑knowledge education on highlight, new and promotion items.
  • Record briefing information in the department communication book.
  • Paperwork: prepare today’s DWS on the notice board before the store opens; prepare tomorrow’s DWS, check manpower schedule, and submit to the manager or division leader before 6 p.m. for verification.
  • Verify department cleaning, freshness, and other requirements based on the Master Schedule Locations, and note remarks in the checking column.
  • Check attendance amendments.
  • Sales‑area management and floor maintenance – keep the floor clean, improve merchandise display, decoration and POP, and maintain lighting and fixtures.
  • Ordering – check daily request quantities before 12 p.m.; authorize store requisition for quantities after 1 p.m. until 3 p.m.; monitor stock balance for ordering.
  • POP & price‑card availability – update POP, ensure weekly selection, advertised, J‑card and normal items include correct price, format and description; limit two POPs per L‑stand, and avoid torn or dirty POPs.
  • Merchandise management – verify production level, prepare sushi assortments before opening, ensure sufficient staff for display and cleaning, display correctly with pricing or POP, monitor stock levels, and ensure concuss counter operation.
  • Non‑merchandise management – maintain chiller/showcase condition, avoid unused fixtures or customer trolleys, keep floor tiles complete, and keep pillars/ walls stain‑free.
  • Backroom management – loss management.
  • Price alteration & PA Zero – perform PA Zero items daily, monitor price changes, and update price cards or POP before opening.
  • Loading bay and receiving – verify receiving merchandise quantity against R/N and delivery info, check quality, freshness, and quantity before receipt, reject non‑quality or spoiled items.
  • Facility, hygiene and cleanliness – ensure lighting at selling floor functions, designate cleaning in DWS, and maintain cleanliness.
  • Cleanliness & hygiene – check staff cleaning process, keep promotion stock clean, remove rubbish, use proper cleaning tools, and clear empty boxes or PA items from sales area.
Weekly Responsibilities
  • Promotion plan – verify execution before and after business operations, set up promotion per schedule and organized manner, confirm POP availability, ensure adequate stock volume and layout compliance.
  • Ordering – ensure group leader schedules weekly plan, confirm weekly production by 11 p.m. every Thursday, and verify stock balance.
  • Office management – prepare weekly sales information, promotion reviews and reports of slow‑moving items.
  • Other tasks – check all merchandise against R/N and delivery info, review incoming R/N for new deliveries (especially promotion or advertised items), and photocopy DI from MMD.
Monthly Responsibilities
  • Time‑table scheduling – plan monthly department duty roster, check promoter duty roster, plan manpower for monthly stock take, and key in HRMS BOSS .NET system schedule for manager approval.
  • OKR – prepare OKR based on Store Operation and HQ objectives for the first and second half; monitor progress and submit to the division leader for evaluation.
  • Office management – file documents properly for easy retrieval (monthly merchandising report, monthly sales budget & achievement, monthly review, department duty roster).
  • Promotion plan – plan promotion setup including layout, brand, cashier, POP and cleaning schedule; devise sales plan and countermeasure.
  • Meeting – attend department meeting with merchandiser, plan and conduct staff meeting.

Other Duties: The employee may be required to perform additional tasks, duties, or projects as assigned by the company, based on business needs or as deemed necessary by management.
