Job summary

A leading manufacturing company in Negeri Sembilan is looking for a production supervisor to manage manufacturing processes, ensure compliance with safety standards, and train junior staff. Candidates should also be willing to work overtime when required.

Job description

Responsibilities

1. Actively participating in KSSM activities and follow all the safety rules & regulations.
2. Adhere and follow all the rules & regulation of company from time to time without fail.
3. Supervise and control the production schedule and enhance manufacturing process to ensure optimal efficiency based on output and quality.
4. Develop, prepare and maintain detailed production documentation, procedures and technical guide.
5. Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshoot production issues.
6. Train and mentor junior engineers and production staff to ensure standardization of process approach.
7. Champion process improvements and develop strategies to increase efficiency and profitability.
8. Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
9. Ensure to meet the dateline of new project with all preparation like documents and necessary items to use in production are well prepared.
10. Collaborate with engineering and technical team to improve product manufacturability.
11. Responsible, punctual and independent personality.
12. Able to do overtime work during normal working day and public holiday when required by the management.
13. Ability to make decisions under pressure.
14. Excellent communication skills.

Other Duties

1. Responsible for new machine and line installation verification process to ensure the productivity output is as planned.
2. Responsible for manpower arrangement with provide an adequate training contents and competent for the new process of manufacturing.
3. Responsible to ensure an adequate standard operating procedure and other standards required in each of manufacturing process.
4. Responsible for implementing periodical check of production process including operators working behavior that might impact product quality and productivity.
5. Responsible to execute and monitor production output and action plan to ensure 100% achievement against target plan.
6. Responsible for implementing improvement activities for safety operation or productivity improvement etc.
