Job Summary
The E-Commerce Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our online retail operations. This includes strategic planning, website maintenance, digital marketing, inventory management, customer service, and overall e-commerce performance. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of e-commerce best practices, possess excellent leadership and communication skills, and have a passion for driving business growth in the online retail space.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement the company's e-commerce strategy, including defining objectives, KPIs, and action plans to achieve targeted goals.
Oversee the management and maintenance of the company's e-commerce website, ensuring a seamless and user-friendly shopping experience.
Monitor and analyze website traffic, sales, and conversion rates, using data-driven insights to optimize performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, inventory management, IT, and customer service, to ensure effective coordination of all e-commerce activities.
Manage and maintain product catalog, including product descriptions, images, pricing, and inventory levels.
Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, and affiliate marketing, to drive traffic and increase online sales.
Implement and manage online merchandising strategies, including product positioning, promotions, and cross-selling initiatives.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and competitive analysis to identify new opportunities and ensure the company's e-commerce platform remains competitive.
Continuously monitor the competitive landscape and provide insights and recommendations for enhancing the company's online presence and customer experience.
Manage and lead a team of e-commerce professionals, providing guidance, feedback, training, and support to foster their professional growth and ensure departmental success.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.
Proven experience in managing e-commerce operations, preferably in a retail/ FMCGenvironment.
Strong knowledge of e-commerce platforms, tools, and technologies.
Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing e-commerce strategies that drive business growth.
Proficient in website analytics tools and digital marketing channels.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to leverage data to drive decision-making.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate and liaise with multiple stakeholders.
Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
