This full-time Engineer position at Amphenol TCS (M) Sdn Bhd is based in Bukit Minyak, Penang. As a key member of the team, you will play an integral role in driving manufacturing excellence and continuous improvement initiatives within the organisation.
- Maintain & troubleshoot any technical problem in production line
- Improve production efficiency by planning and analyzing process performance, workflow, capacity, space requirements and equipment layout.
- Handle & follow up on product ECN/DN
- Handle products from other sites to Malaysia in the areas of detailed parts drawing, assembly drawing and preparation of Bill of materials and etc.
- Carry out any other responsibilities as and when assigned by Superior/Management
- Train and supervise production operators in performing their daily work tasks to achieve targets
- Ensure all production activities and processes comply with ISO standards and mandatory regulations
- Maintain good housekeeping, safety and hygiene practices
- Ensure sufficient stock of spare parts for smooth operation and continuous running to meet customer delivery
- Be responsible for capacity, productivity and quality control of any products from the production line
- Evaluate processes by designing and conducting research programs, applying knowledge of fabrication, assembly, tooling and materials, and conferring with the requirements from vendors
- Plan manpower efficiently to achieve labor efficiency and productivity
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Familiar with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint & Word)
- At least 2-5 years related working experience
- Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply
