Amphenol Communications Solutions – Perai, Penang

This full-time Engineer position at Amphenol TCS (M) Sdn Bhd is based in Bukit Minyak, Penang. As a key member of the team, you will play an integral role in driving manufacturing excellence and continuous improvement initiatives within the organisation.

What you'll be doing

• Maintain & troubleshoot any technical problem in production line
• Improve production efficiency by planning and analyzing process performance, workflow, capacity, space requirements and equipment layout.
• Handle & follow up on product ECN/DN
• Handle products from other sites to Malaysia in the areas of detailed parts drawing, assembly drawing and preparation of Bill of materials and etc.
• Carry out any other responsibilities as and when assigned by Superior/Management
• Train and supervise production operators in performing their daily work tasks to achieve targets
• Ensure all production activities and processes comply with ISO standards and mandatory regulations
• Maintain good housekeeping, safety and hygiene practices
• Ensure sufficient stock of spare parts for smooth operation and continuous running to meet customer delivery
• Be responsible for capacity, productivity and quality control of any products from the production line
• Evaluate processes by designing and conducting research programs, applying knowledge of fabrication, assembly, tooling and materials, and conferring with the requirements from vendors
• Plan manpower efficiently to achieve labor efficiency and productivity
