We're partnering with a leading international container shipping line to find an ambitious and commercially driven Country Commercial Manager to lead and unify their sales, marketing, and customer service operations in Malaysia. This is a rare opportunity to make a real impact — from strengthening customer relationships to building high-performing teams and driving revenue growth.

• Lead and unify Malaysia’s commercial functions, aligning local teams with regional and global strategies
• Develop and execute local sales plans across import and export activities to grow revenue and market share
• Build, manage, and motivate a high-performing sales team to exceed business targets
• Strengthen customer relationships through joint visits and targeted service offerings
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and CRM pipeline management, ensuring commercial activities are data-driven and accountable
• Work closely with operations to deliver effective intermodal solutions and manage long-dwelling cargo
• Collaborate with regional and head office teams to standardise commercial approaches and improve coordination
• Ensure timely payments through close collaboration with credit control and accurate CRM record-keeping

• A commercially focused leader with 10–15 years of experience in container shipping, logistics, or the liner trade
• Skilled in team leadership, business development, and stakeholder engagement
• Deep understanding of customer relationship management, port operations, and equipment handling
• A strong strategic thinker who thrives on driving performance and improving commercial structure
• Proactive, collaborative, and adaptable, with excellent negotiation and multitasking abilities

• Competitive base salary: RM 17,500 – RM 20,000 per month
• Allowances: RM 2,500 transport + RM 250 mobile
