JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To achieve and meet direct sales targets and ARPU targets set forth by the management of the company.
  • Operationalize High Speed Broadband sales management includes plan, develop and execute of sales tasks, sales performance and activities to achieve revenue Astro Broadband targets.
  • Manageable for a geographical sales territory, planning regular sales activities and target for direct sales team, sales kiosks on a weekly basis.
  • Actively involved in all sales activities to ensure the highest possible acquisition, revenue, up sells, and services.
  • Maintain high levels of customer service, satisfaction and integrity and minimise dissatisfaction and complaint issue.
  • Developed a strong working relationship, team-work and sense of mutual respect with the team.
  • Implement and deliver Astro products and conduct strategies and programs to all ground staff.
  • Ensure direct sales team are well briefed and trained on new Astro plans, products and promotions.
  • Ability to maintain an excellent sales, product and service knowledge at all times in order to deliver the best customer solution.
  • To coach, train and develop staff within the assigned location to advocate the features and benefits of Astro’s products and services. Develop skill-sets and behaviour which will allow them to bring these to life in a sales interaction with customers on a daily basis.
  • Maintain regular contact with Astro Operations to ensure smooth plan submission and installation process.
  • Conduct sales meetings with Team Sales Managers to discuss plan, products and promotions in a weekly basis.
  • Arrange and conduct Quarterly Reviews with Team/Area/Regional management to discuss the performance of the sales activities/kiosk/promo booth and the plans for growth in future quarters.
  • Responsible for the achievement of regional retail sales targets set by the management of the company.
  • Responsible for the market survey; analyse market trends/conditions and competitive activities in managing the business effectively and submit report to management with recommendations.
  • Responsible for the timely execution, effective communication and monitoring of the nation-wide consumer promotions/offers and or local tailor-made promotions to ensure its achievement of the sales targets set.
  • Responsible for the implementation, monitoring and control of incentive schemes intended for motivating the retailers and providing feedback and ground level check/control.
  • Responsible for the development of the Retailer Channel of Distribution by identifying potential retailers for appointment and establishing good business relationship with selected retailers - leading to the achievement of sales target and the quality of customer service expected. Responsible for the execution, monitoring and compliance of retailers to the Retail Policy and Rules of Trade to ensure a sound operating business environment.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Good communication and negotiation skills, with fluency in both spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia
  • Working experience in sales, business development and client facing
  • Experience in managing a sales team
  • Exposed and familiar with area of operation
