A leading semiconductor manufacturing company in Kedah is seeking a detail-oriented Equipment Engineer to oversee the installation, maintenance, and improvement of production equipment. The ideal candidate will ensure operational efficiency and safety, collaborating with teams for enhanced equipment performance. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering and strong mechanical/electrical understanding are required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field).
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Knowledge of automation systems, PLC programming, or robotics.
- Familiarity with safety and compliance standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of production or testing equipment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize equipment performance and minimize downtime.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability, efficiency, and safety.
