A leading food manufacturing corporation is seeking a Utilities Engineer in Johor. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting plant utilities equipment as well as ensuring safety and compliance with regulations. The role requires a degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering and 3-5 years of hands-on maintenance experience. Candidates with knowledge of food manufacturing environments will have an advantage. The primary role and responsibility of a Utilities Engineer is to preserve, maintain, operate and optimize plant utilities equipment inclusive boiler and steam distribution systems. This work will require extensive knowledge and must be accomplished with appropriate competency and safety consciousness. Other functions include, preventive and predictive procedures, modifying, testing, measuring, assembling, improving, and installing utility facilities and related equipment. Maintenance duties will include operating, repairing, refurbishing, adjusting, and calibrating a wide range of equipment in the general categories of: Steam, Compressed air, Chilled water, treated water, waste water, refrigeration and HVAC. It is expected that the Utility Engineer develop and maintain proficiency on diverse group of equipment that supports the manufacturing process. The Utility Engineer will display the Hershey Values of customer service, team work, and cooperation with all trades, production, and support personnel.
