Job summary
A water treatment solutions company located in Johor is seeking a Sales Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering and possess 2–3 years of sales experience in the water and wastewater treatment industry. Responsibilities include driving sales of NF membrane systems, preparing quotations, and maintaining client relationships. Strong communication and technical knowledge of water treatment processes are essential for success in this role.
Qualifications
- 2–3 years of experience in sales within water and wastewater treatment.
- Strong knowledge of membrane systems (NF, RO, UF), water treatment processes, and related equipment.
Responsibilities
- Drive sales of NF membrane systems and related water treatment solutions.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop client relationships.
- Prepare and deliver commercial proposals and quotations.
- Achieve sales targets set by management.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients for repeat business.
Skills
Education
Degree/Diploma in Chemical, Mechanical, Environmental Engineering, or equivalent.
2–3 years of experience in sales within water and wastewater treatment.
Strong knowledge of membrane systems (NF, RO, UF), water treatment processes, and related equipment.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.

- Provide basic technical clarifications to customers.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.
- Submit regular sales reports to management.
- Degree/Diploma in Chemical, Environmental Engineering, or equivalent.
- 2–3 years of experience in process design/application for water treatment.
- Strong technical knowledge of NF membranes, system design, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to prepare technical proposals and perform site assessments.
- Work closely with clients to understand process requirements.
- Design and recommend NF membrane systems based on site conditions.
- Prepare detailed technical proposals and system configurations.
- Support troubleshooting and optimization of existing systems.
- Assist in small‑scale retrofit projects and commissioning.
- Liaise with engineering and procurement teams for smooth execution.
- Conduct site visits and technical discussions.
- Provide technical training and support to clients.
- Maintain technical documentation and project records.
- Report progress and technical findings to management.
