Job summary

A recognized Electronics Manufacturing Services provider is seeking a Senior Officer/Executive in Human Resources to manage payroll processes and oversee employee relations. Your role will ensure compliance with Malaysian labor laws and you will support and advise management on best practices. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Human Resources or related fields and at least 3 years of relevant experience, alongside strong analytical and communication skills. A commitment to confidentiality and professionalism is essential.

  • Serve as a liaison with government agencies on employee relations matters.

Senior Officer/Executive, Human Resources

The Officer/ Senior Officer- is responsible for managing and processing end-to-end payroll functions to ensure accurate and timely salary payments. The role involves maintaining payroll records, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and providing leadership and support to the payroll clerk.

Job Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end payroll processing for General Worker and Non-Executive

Collect, verify, and reconcile attendance, leave, and overtime data.

Ensure compliance with Malaysian statutory requirements including EPF, SOCSO, EIS, and PCB.

Prepare and submit statutory filings and reports to relevant authorities on time.

Handle data entry for new joiner, staff promotion, salary adjustment, resignation in related HR Systems for General Worker and Non-Executive category.

Perform yearly employee information update program.

Coordinate with Finance for cash withdrawal and secure handling of funds.

Coordinating cash salary distributions for cash-paid employees.

Handle the HR counter to receive and record employee salary-related grievances or inquiries.

Respond to basic employee inquiries regarding payroll and benefits.

Any other task assigned by superior.

Comply with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, ISO 22301:2019, ISO 13485:2016.

Job Requirements

Education: Bachelor degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

Experience: Minimum 3 years in payroll, statutory compliance, and training.

Computer Knowledge: Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) or related software.

Skills & Abilities: Strong knowledge of statutory compliance, labor laws applicable. Strong analytical, numerical and organizational abilities. Ability to manage confidential information with discretion

Executive/Senior Executive (IR/ER)

Job Summary

The Senior Executive, HR (Industrial Relations & Employee Relations) is responsible for managing all industrial and employee relations matters within the organizational. This role ensures compliance with Malaysian labor laws, maintains harmonious relationships between management and employees, and supports HR strategies that promote a productive and engaged workforce.

Job Responsibilities

Manage and handle disciplinary actions, domestic inquiries, and grievance cases in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.

Serve as the liaison with government agencies (e.g., JTK, PERKESO, EPF) and relevant external bodies on employee relations matters.

Support and advise management on labor laws, company policies, and best practices for effective employee management.

Conduct investigations into employee misconduct, prepare reports, and recommend appropriate actions.

Develop and maintain effective employee communication channels to ensure transparency and trust.

Monitor HR practices to ensure compliance with the Employment Act 1955, Industrial Relations Act 1967, and other relevant labor regulations.

Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports related to IR/ER activities.

Support employee engagement programmers and initiatives to enhance morale and workplace harmony.

Assist in HR policy review and continuous improvement initiatives.

Comply with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, ISO 22301:2019, ISO 13485:2016.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations, Law, or related field.

Minimum 3 years of HR experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years focused on IR/ER functions.

Strong knowledge of Malaysian employment and industrial laws.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels.

High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.

Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English, both spoken and written.
