• Strategic Procurement Planning – Proactively plan and manage the procurement of raw materials and non-inventory items to ensure timely availability and cost efficiency.
• Purchase Order Management – Ensure all purchase orders comply with company policies and vendor agreements.
• Vendor Coordination and Shipment Tracking – Maintain close communication with both local and international suppliers to obtain shipment schedules, tracking information, and estimated delivery dates.
• Import Logistics and Clearance – Liaise with forwarding agents and customs brokers to facilitate smooth clearance of imported goods and ensure all documentation is complete and compliant with regulatory requirements.
• Support to Procurement Leadership – Assist Procurement and Purchasing Leaders in executing purchasing strategies, resolving supplier issues, and improving procurement processes.
• Cross-Departmental Collaboration – Coordinate with internal departments to ensure proper documentation and alignment on procurement activities. Facilitate smooth communication and workflow between teams.
• Ad Hoc Duties – Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by Management, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach to supporting business needs.

• Education: Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Experience: 3 to 6 years of relevant working experience, preferably in material control, raw material procurement, or purchasing.
• Knowledge of the SAP system is preferable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with suppliers and internal teams.
• Confident in negotiation and problem-solving, with a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
• Positive mindset and a willingness to challenge the status quo for continuous improvement.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel between the Shah Alam and Seremban branches, if necessary.
