A leading financial services provider in Malaysia is seeking a Senior Executive for Legal & Compliance. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree in Law and 3+ years of experience as an advocate, solicitor, or in-house counsel. Responsibilities include drafting contracts, conducting legal research, and providing legal advice on various matters. - Experience in corporate, litigation, commercial, banking, leasing, and property matters.
Responsibilities
- Assist in drafting & reviewing of commercial contracts and legal documents.
- Conduct legal research & monitor legal developments.
- Provide legal advice to business stakeholders across various areas.

Assist in drafting & reviewing of commercial contracts, tenancy agreements, NDAs, service agreements, and other legal documents.
Conduct legal research & monitor developments in laws and regulations affecting the Company.
Provide legal advice to business stakeholders across a wide range of subject areas, including corporate, enterprise, commercial, regulatory, employment and labour related contracts/matters/issues; data privacy; dispute resolutions/litigation management, new business products and models including Cloud, SaaS, AI etc.
Liaise with internal stakeholders and external solicitors on legal matters and disputes.
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB)
Minimum 3 years of PQE as advocate & solicitors or in-house counsel
Possess experience in corporate, litigation, commercial, banking, leasing and property matters.
Self-discipline, responsible, self-motivated and dynamic personality
Able to work independently, meticulous and organized.
