Job description

Project Responsibilities

• Execute projects to meet schedule, cost, and quality according to the master programming in Microsoft Project online.
• Prepare and maintain daily site progress reports.
• Review structural drawings and submit Requests for Information (RFI) to consultants for inspection.
• Ensure timely submission of shop drawings, As-Built drawings, and material samples at the site.
• Vet approved method statements or work instructions.
• Adhere to the project schedule, cost, and quality plan.
• Arrange and conduct sub-contractor meetings and attend other technical interface meetings with clients and consultants.
• Supervise and monitor sub-contractor progress of work at the site.
• Carry out quality inspections for work done by sub-contractors at the site and maintain records.
• Develop detailed project work breakdown structure (WBS) for each construction stage.
• Monitor and analyze project effectiveness using qualitative and quantitative tools.
• Monitor schedules and risk management plans, providing warnings of serious deviations that hinder project results.
• Recommend modifications to improve effectiveness and attain project milestones.
• Develop detailed task lists and work effort assessments.
• Prepare and present regular internal and external project reports for management.
• Gather actual data, update the project schedule, and develop reliable schedule forecasts with support from the project team.
• Identify changes in work scope within the project plan and take appropriate planning measures with clients to reassess, renegotiate, and amend scope, responsibilities, proposals, contracts, and budgets.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Civil), or equivalent.
• Preferably high-rise building experience in Civil/Construction/Structural/Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic or equivalent.
• At least 1–2 years of related working experience required.
• Required skills: MS Office, AutoCAD, Primavera, or relevant software.
• Required languages: Bahasa Malaysia, English.
