You will be responsible for managing existing clients within our business as well as the development of new business. A strong understanding of the English language is required as most communication is verbal and in writing. Bilingual in Afrikaans or a second or third language is advantageous.

We are looking for someone who can work independently and is strong at time management. Must be able to manage stressful situations and think outside of the box in the middle of a crisis. Must be of a sunny disposition but strong enough to take control in meetings when required. Knowledge of Syspro is advantageous but can be trained if needed; however, you will need to have a basic knowledge/understanding of an ERP System.

• Minimum 3 years sales and account managerial experience within the logistics/supply chain management industry.
• Influential, persuasive, and assertive (when necessary).
• Self-motivated, results-oriented.
• Genuine interest in understanding and meeting customers' needs.
• Proactive, show initiative, and be independent.
• Excellent communication, listening, and presentation skills. Be meticulous at all times. Computer literate and numerate. Sound knowledge of products and services.
• It is vital that you are able to work well under pressure.
• Efficient in Excel.

• Maintaining and improving relationships with current clients and building relationships with new clients.
• Monitoring all orders from clients to ensure that orders are placed timeously and correctly.
• Ensuring that the online portal is functioning and correcting any problems.
• Running month-end reports, ensuring that all expenses are billed to the client at the end of each month.
• Developing business within the manufacturing, logistics, distribution, and warehousing departments, ensuring that orders are placed on time and that stock quantity is maintained and reported.
• Making sales calls for new business and following up on possible business within the pipeline.
• Quoting on all specific requirements for manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, or distribution.
