Retail Key Account Manager Reference: PE

Our Client is an international company that offers world class, technologically and highly advanced digital products and services in both B2B and B2C environments. The Group is well known for their technological excellence, innovation and has one of the most admired brands globally. They have a global sales and operations network, with one of their fastest growing business units being in South Africa. Due to further dynamic development, we are now looking for a professional and committed individual to take up the position of Retail Key Account Manager. This position will be based in Centurion, Gauteng. The primary focus of the role is to maximise performance of this key account in line with agreed strategies and business objectives and through strengthening business relationships with the key people in the organisation.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Reporting to the Sales and Marketing Director, responsible for achieving the sell‑on sales budget for the allocated accounts and subsequent tasks required in achieving the set targets.
  • Develop, implement and monitor strategic & tactical business plans and co‑ordinate all appropriate resources to enable achievement of business objectives for the allocated accounts.
  • Responsible for utilising and planning investments to maximise business performance return on investment.
  • Monitor and analyse the account data and optimise continuous business performance as well as create business opportunities on local level.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Matric essential.
  • Sales and Marketing qualification (highly advantageous) coupled with demonstrated experience in the FMCG Digital / Electronic / Print Retail sector in a related role.
  • Minimum 5+ years of key account management experience (in Digital / Printing / Camera Retail).
  • Computer literate.
  • Fluent in English – essential requirement.
  • Open to SA citizens with a clear criminal and credit history.
  • Valid unendorsed Driver's Licence is essential, with own vehicle preferred.

Remuneration: Market related basic + Commission, Medical Aid and Provident Fund.
