Job summary
A leading company in the grocery sector seeks a candidate for a procurement role focusing on supplier negotiation and stock management. Ideal candidates will have a diploma and strong organizational skills, with previous experience preferred. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply for this opportunity in Port Klang.
Qualifications
- Preferably 2 years working experience at similar position.
- Mandarin literate is an added advantage.
Responsibilities
- Liaise with suppliers and negotiate deals.
- Monitor stock flow and ensure timely delivery.
- Conduct market surveys and understand consumer needs.
Skills
Education
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/ Advanced/ Higher/ Graduate Diploma/ Degree in any field
- Interested in grocery/fresh/non-food product
- Mandarin literate is an added advantage
- Preferably 2 years working experience at similar position

- Strong organizational & time management skills
- Applicants must be willing to work in Pandamaran, Port Klang
- Liaise with suppliers and carry out negotiation.
- Looking for new suppliers & conduct market survey from time to time.
- Understand the consumer needs and the market trend.
- Control stocks flow including ensuring quality and timely stock arrival.
- Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage.
- Track orders and ensure timely delivery.
- Monitor and managing stock allocations to outlets and interpret sales forecast.
- Process payment arrangement, invoices and purchase orders.
- Any other ad hoc task assigned by the management from time to time
