Skills
Mayang Muara Sdn Bhd, a leading provider of facilities management services, is seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician cum Handyman to join our team in Kuala Lumpur. This full-time position is a vital role that will contribute to the smooth running and maintenance of our client's facilities.
- Operation & Maintenance
- Perform regular inspection, servicing, and repair of mechanical equipment such as pumps, motors, HVAC systems, compressors, water supply systems, and fire protection systems.
- Execute preventive and corrective maintenance to reduce downtime and prolong equipment lifespan.
- Assist in testing and commissioning of new installations or refurbished systems.
- Facilities Support
- Monitor mechanical systems to ensure compliance with performance and safety standards.
- Support improvement, optimization, and energy‑saving initiatives for building mechanical operations.
- Carry out minor fabrication, welding, and mechanical fitting tasks when required.
- Safety & Compliance
- Adhere to all SOPs, safety guidelines, and statutory regulations.
- Conduct routine checks on safety equipment such as fire pumps, sprinklers, ventilation, and exhaust systems.
- Report faults, hazards, or unsafe practices to supervisors promptly.
- Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate maintenance records using logbooks or CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
- Prepare reports on breakdowns, repairs, parts replacement, and maintenance activities.
- Assist in managing spare parts inventory and material requisitions.
- Teamwork & Coordination
- Coordinate with civil, electrical, and M&E technicians for integrated facility support.
- Supervise and monitor contractors/vendors performing specialized mechanical works.
- Provide technical support during facility audits and inspections.
- 18–30 Y/O
