A leading transportation company in Johor is seeking a Finance Assistant Manager to prepare financial statements and support audits. - Assist in the preparation of accurate financial statements, reports, and budgets.
- Provide support during internal and external audits, assisting with data collection, documentation, and resolving audit queries.
- Review and analyze financial transactions.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparing journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, company policies, and internal controls.
- Assist in identifying and implementing improvements to financial processes and procedures.
- Prepare ad hoc financial analysis and reports as requested by management.
- Work closely with other departments, ensure accurate financial data.
- Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 6 months of audit experience (internal or external audit).
- At least 3-5 years ofexperience in finance or accounting.
- Experience in manufacturer industry is highly preferable.
- Basic understanding of audit principles.
- Proficiency in Chinese, English, and Bahasa Malaysia (both spoken and written) is required for business communication.
